Are you interested in more authentic relationships? Do you want to be more deeply known and more deeply loved? Do you want to be a part of hearing and seeing life stories be redeemed by God? Would it be exciting to help a person get clarity and direction for their life purpose? And, are you willing to listen, really listen? If you have said “yes” to these questions, then you should consider taking the Listen to My Life journey with a small group.
Being a facilitator of a Listen to My Life small group is not about being able to fix people’s problems or be a group counselor. It is about opening up a safe space for people to share with others their past life, current life and their hopes for the future.
If you are interested, here are the steps to take: First, you should purchase the Listen to My Life Workbook, review it, study it, and complete each map personally (i.e. document your own life story, document your personal valley experiences, etc.) and share some of your experiences with a friend. Your next step would be to order, download and print the Listen to My Life Group Facilitation Guide. It gives you a step by step approach on how to use each of the Listen to My Life maps in a small group setting. It includes a Visual Timeline, Syllabuses, and Agendas with leader’s notes to facilitate each group meeting.
