Her life’s passion is ministering to women; specifically helping women connect with God in an intimate way through the study of scripture. She is an enthusiastic student of the Bible, and enjoy teaching on subjects related to the process of spiritual transformation, our identity in Christ, and Kingdom living. She is energized by connecting with women from all walks of life; celebrating racial, cultural and social diversity. Currently she serves as Directional Leader for an 800+ Women’s Ministry at Heartland Community Church in Rockford IL. This position offers her the wonderful opportunity of strategic planning for current and new women’s ministry initiatives; to plan Bible Study curriculum, recruit and develop leadership teams, and leadership curriculum. She oversees an amazing staff and team of volunteers. In the past, sheI served for 14 years as a volunteer at Rockford First Assembly of God Church, in Rockford IL. At Rockford First Assembly, she served as Women’s Ministry Pastor; taught Precept Bible Studies, Sunday school, and New Membership Classes. Her educational background includes Berean School of the Bible. She was formerly a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God. Her husband and best friend of 25 years, Baron is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. They have three sons Baron-23 Jason-22, and Jeremy-21. She enjoys hosting dinner parties, attending leadership conferences, reading, golf, and skiing.
