“…I was in the midst of a huge transition..."

As I looked over my life’s story, it was so significant to see God at work in every season.  While I’ve certainly had a general sense that my steps have been “ordered by the Lord,” looking at all of the significant God-moments in my life and the “big picture” was a significant spiritual experience.  Not only did the process remind me of God’s ongoing faithfulness in my life, it also drew out themes and patterns of His activity that deepened my trust in Him.

I was in huge transition when we embarked on the Listen to My Life journey.  It was clear that both my career and our location was potentially about to shift.  Little did I know how pivotal the Listen to My Life process would be to me and my wife.  In a time when I was considering an enormous change, Listen to My Life brought great clarity and the ability to discern the activity of God in my life.

I had anticipated that Listen to My Life would provide a tool for our family to grow deeper with each other and with God, and it did in ways that far exceeded my expectations.  But what took me by surprise was the positive impact of processing my spiritual journey with others.  I am deeply grateful for the chance to dive deeper into community by exploring my story and the stories of those around me.  Those were sacred moments.

Listen to My Life is certainly a peak spiritual experience on my personal spiritual journey.
