“Enabled me to hear God more clearly”

It's difficult for me to put into words what I experienced going through Listen To My Life. Ironically, I went in with the notion that I was previewing the material for how it might help others, not knowing that God had a very important conversation that He needed to have with me. The biggest gift this experience gave me was intentional time - time to reflect on where I am right now in my life, where I want to be, and where God wanted me to move in the future. Sharon and Sibyl's passion for helping women to know their story and figure out how that story is meant to be used to further His kingdom was profound. When you are sharing personal details of your life, some for the first time, you have to feel safe. Sharon, Sibyl, and the entire team went to great lengths to ensure we felt that.

Our lives are so hectic and busy - Listen to My Life forced me to take the time to listen - to listen to myself, but also to listen to others, which then enabled me to hear God's voice more clearly. As a result of Listen to My Life, I have re-enrolled in school to complete my long overdue undergraduate degree after a 20 year hiatus. With a full-time job in ministry and a family, it’s going to take a while, but I am clear on the goal and am enjoying the process! There were many things that came out from my past that I knew on some level, but I had not connected the dots for how they have shaped me into the person God wants me to be today. This was truly a life-changing experience that will stay with me. I use the skills I learned during Listen to My Life on a daily basis and my connection with my story and how God designed me has made a profound impact on my life and my ministry.
