I was struck by the benediction given by Jon Peacock, pastor of Mission Church in Roselle, IL this weekend after his message on the armor of God. Let this be your declaration each day!
“I’m not shrinking back, I’m moving forward.
I’m not backing down, I’m suiting up.
I’m standing firm, I’m Battle Ready.
When it comes to our enemy, we won’t back down, stand down or bow down.
No weapon formed against me will prosper.
No plan of Satan will prevail.
No deception will devour me,
No falsehood will frustrate me.
He’s not gonna plunder my peace or steal my joy.
My mind is clear.
My heart is full.
My feet are ready.
I’m not giving ground, I’m taking ground.
I’m not retreating, I’m advancing.
The Breastplate Guards.
The Belt Girds.
The Shoes Grip.
The Helmet is on me.
The Word is in me.
The Shield is before me.
I am victorious for the glory of God
because I’m connected to the people of God
who are walking in the power of God
because we are standing in the Armor of God.”

“And this is why you need to be head-to-toe in the full armor of God: so you can resist during these evil days and be fully prepared to hold your ground.”
Ephesians 6: 13
