Becoming who you are made to be takes more courage than any of us could imagine.
I have come to understand that 'growing up' has little to do with age. The process of maturing gracefully has more to do with how we understand our story and what we have chosen to take with us into the future and what we have decided to leave in our past. We're all 'growing up' into ourselves, and it takes a heavy doses of self-reflection, ruthless sorting, and tenacious choices to live our own God-given lives, responding to God's voice and silencing all others that would pull us off course.
